Submit IdeaBackup & Restore
I’d love to see a proper backup and restore system. Ideally, I could create local backups of my Superlist data and later restore either an entire account or selected lists. This would provide protection against accidental deletions, unwanted changes, or other mistakes. I don’t necessarily need the backup format to be human-readable; reliability and complete restoration are more important

Repeat "after completion"
For example: "Repeat after completion" "Repeat X days, weeks, months... after previous item is checked off". For bills to send or training items it makes sense to create a new tasks when previous is completed with a parametre.

Differentiate between a task and a checklist. I don’t want my Books To Read appearing in the Tasks section - it confuses

Spark email integration
I currently use Spark as my email client and would love to see an integration between spark and Superlist.

Allow bulleted list items to be expanded and collapsed like an outliner
Clicking on the bullet should expand or collapse the row (and it's sub-rows). The state should persist when you return to the list.

Ability to reference lists to other lists.
Would like the ability to reference lists to other lists. This way, our team can maintain a table of contents of sorts to all lists across our team workspace

Basic Features, NO MORE AI
I was really excited for Superlist - it's simple and intuitive and beautiful. I have a ton of pet features that would make it better for me - there is a long list of these below. So many of them seem so basic and simple. Then comes a big update and price increase and we get.... AI? I know that's what everyone is talking about now but AI is not the "killer feature" normal people are looking for. Superlist has so much potential and it feels like it's being wasted. I will continue to try and implement it for my purposes because it's simpler and better than most of it's competitors, but my hopes are waning. Deliver features that work and that people use. I can't access file attachments on mobile. No checklists. Locked in to your proprietary text format. I can't even paste from MS Word. Every app should support plain text and markdown. The list could go on. Make apps for customers - people who work - not VC or your perceived competitors. AI is bullshit. Give me an old fashioned tool. Let everyone else misfire with AI and learn from those failures and implement AI when it makes sense.

Sub-Lists for Items that are NOT Tasks
Sometimes I would just like to make a sub list under something that's not a task, just for quick note taking purposes. That way it doesn't clutter up all of my task lists but still easily accessible and more consolidation of notes.

Ability to have lists within lists as another object
this is something I am very used to (for example in notion, where I can have pages inside other pages) so this way I can put tasks inside a list without the need to create a task to put subtasks because in this case we only need a subcategory of tasks (and not a task itself with tasks inside), these would be shown idented on the sidebar and also shown inside the main list
