  2. Export Lists and Tasks

Ability to export lists to CSV and/or google sheet. This would help in creating weekly status reports on tasks completed. Also, it would be nice if completed tasks included their tags and the date they were marked complete included in the export.

  3. Directly open in tasks

one of the reasons I have stopped using the app is that I have to click twice to get to my tasks which is unintuitive. I need a setting that allows me to go directly to one of the options. Until then I'm gonna hold off.

  4. Basic Features, NO MORE AI

I was really excited for Superlist - it's simple and intuitive and beautiful. I have a ton of pet features that would make it better for me - there is a long list of these below. So many of them seem so basic and simple. Then comes a big update and price increase and we get.... AI? I know that's what everyone is talking about now but AI is not the "killer feature" normal people are looking for. Superlist has so much potential and it feels like it's being wasted. I will continue to try and implement it for my purposes because it's simpler and better than most of it's competitors, but my hopes are waning. Deliver features that work and that people use. I can't access file attachments on mobile. No checklists. Locked in to your proprietary text format. I can't even paste from MS Word. Every app should support plain text and markdown. The list could go on. Make apps for customers - people who work - not VC or your perceived competitors. AI is bullshit. Give me an old fashioned tool. Let everyone else misfire with AI and learn from those failures and implement AI when it makes sense.

  5. Custom time blocks

This would allow students to add their schedule and classes into Superlist, so we could add tests, quizzes and exams into their appropriate time more easily (without having to enter in the time every time).

  6. Manage labels

Allow users to manage labels (e.g., deleting, renaming) to give them functional use.

  7. Timeblocking for tasks

Seamless integration of the calendar to enter tasks directly at a specific time would greatly assist in planning the day. If you want to schedule a task, another window with the calendar could open on the right. In this window, you should also be able to directly schedule the required time by reducing or enlarging the task.

  8. Kanban view

Use tags to organize lists into Kanban boards. This is useful to teams tracking project task status and task priority. Users should be able to click and drag tasks within a Kanban board that is introduced as a new and optional view or as an content type insert.

  9. Smart lists

Create lists that would basically just be a named saved filter in the sidebar. Setup features could include labels, statuses, dates, assignment, etc. Really filtration by any combination of properties to generate the contents of the list.

  10. Comments on Lists (and I won't have to use Slack!)

In working with a team I need the ability to Comment on Lists - not just Tasks. I wouldn't need to use Slack in this case. A huge benefit would be the date/time stamp of the Comment. When updating a list with new information, a record of the date along with the Comment would be essential as well.

  13. Maintain list and scroll position

Nearly every time I navigate away from the app, and then back again within even a short span of time, my context in terms of the list that I was looking at my scroll position on that list are lost. Save the list that I’m on and my scroll that when I return to the app it’s exactly where I left it from.

  14. Recurrence for moved weekly tasks

Currently, when moving a weekly recurring task to a different date changes the recurrence settings. Let's say I have a task recurring on Mondays and I want to do it on Friday this week, if I move it, it automatically becomes a task that gets repeated every Friday, which is not the intention when changing just an iteration. In my opinion, due date for an occurrence and the settings for recurrence should be independent.

  15. Integration with Microsoft ToDo

Integration with ToDo should synchronize the full list, including completed items. I use ToDo app mainly for my travel packing needs. For each destination and purpose I developed a list that is alive, meaning every time I travel to a specific destination I untick what I will pack and tick when I pack. If I don’t have the full list and status synchronized, I cannot confidently switch.
